Choir

Every student at St Catherine’s is welcome to join the choir. All that we require is a love and
enthusiasm for singing. We rehearse every Thursday at second recess, with extra rehearsals when
leading up to a performance.
Students learn to sing together as well as learning performance techniques. Our choir is a ‘glee’ style
choir where we not only sing but dance and perform our songs.
We sing at assembly every week and rehearse for various performances throughout the year such as
School Masses, local festivals, Nursing home performances and Christmas concerts.
We look forward to improving our vocal abilities and continuing to make the choir a really fun
environment for students.
