Passionate Teachers Wanted

It really has been terrific to be officially fulltime in the job for the last few weeks and watch the progress unfold. Our major milestone for this week was placing an advertisement for the foundation teachers of St Catherine’s.

While I have already been inundated with interest, this week we began the formal search for teachers who will work with me, and with our foundation parents, to build the education vision and culture of our school. This really is a very exciting and important phase as I work to identify the very best teachers who share my passion to ensure every child feels safe, inspired, engaged and confident to learn.

We have a great opportunity to build a collaborative and committed culture from day one, without any historical barriers in our way. I will be searching for the very finest teachers to ensure we make the most of this unique opportunity. If you know of any great teachers who would be interested, encourage them to visit the employment page on this website.

It has also been thrilling to watch the building take shape on a daily basis. Over the past couple of weeks we have seen the ground floor windows go in.

This has allowed the builders to begin work plastering and fitting off internally and it has been interesting to watch the spaces really take shape.

I have been busy contacting families who have expressed interest in enrolling but have not yet confirmed their enrolment. This has led to some great conversations and a pleasing number of families confirm their intention to enrol at St Catherine’s. I would encourage any families yet to make their decision to do so soon. I am still taking interviews so please book via the button on the home page of this website.  If you have any remaining questions or feel free to email me via or call 0475 753 590.

Next week we will have some more updates for you, including some developments to support our vision for outdoor, active learning. I am also delighted to say an announcement on our uniform is imminent.

Best wishes,

Donna Bryce
